Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA) is a Statutory Government Agency established by the Free Zones (Amendment) Act of 2024, and is responsible for the establishment, development, management, marketing, maintenance, supervision and control of free zones; the development, promotion, and coordination of all export-related activities; and provide for related matters.
Under the African Union framework and hosted by the Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, AIW25 brings together policy makers, industry leaders, investors and development partners to accelerate value-addition, innovation, and intra-African trade.
